The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.

Carl Rogers

It can feel lonely and isolating when we feel we are not being heard, or our feelings aren’t acknowledged or haven’t been acknowledged in the past. This may cause anger, depression, confusion and anxiety – leading to a multitude of issues which prevent us getting on with our lives and managing day-to-day.

Looking for a counsellor can be a bewildering task; I aim to explain what sort of counselling I can offer and what the process might look like: I am an integrative counsellor which means I have been trained in, and am able to use a variety of approaches. This can either be discussed with you during the early stages of the counselling process, or it can become a more organic experience as we begin working together.
